I used this activity for the 2nd verse of Holy Places. I created a crossword puzzle using words from the 2nd verse. I used chalk and drew the empty squares on the chalkboard.
Then I provided "fill in the blank" clues on the board where the "blank" words corresponded to the words in the crossword puzzle. The children worked on solving the puzzle while we sang the song on repeat.
