Jesus Once Was a Little Child - First Letter of Each Word

Click on the picture to download the print-out. This is a "crack the code" type of activity. 

Cut out each phrase into a strip and place them on the board out of order.

Sing the song while children take turns trying to figure out what the code is (each letter is the first letter in the word).

Tap on the children to come up to the board and put the paper strips in order.

Repeat singing the song until all of the strips are in order.
